The furniture pieces you see here are all made to order on a 4 – 12 week lead time, unless stated 'in stock'. You can purchase them or enquire about custom sizes below. No two pieces will ever have the same grain, figure and colour, unless they come from the same tree.

Moon Stool Ebonised
English Oak. This Moon Stool takes its name from the surface: a wild, textured figure reminiscent of the moon’s surface.
The blackened tone comes from oak brushed with iron acetate, a natural solution of vinegar and steel that reacts with the wood’s tannins.
Whilst the stool pictured has a hole left by a dead knot, your custom version will have its own character (hole not guaranteed!).

Dimensions: 560mm wide x 300mm deep x 430mm height
Japanese Tenon Bench
Sweet Chestnut. Designed for modern life around the table—dining, drawing, reading, crafting—this bench is wide enough to sit cross-legged and simple enough to suit almost any space.
The joinery is fully visible, with through-tenons at the seat and legs that quietly celebrate the craft. Inspired by a photograph of a Japanese piece in an old book, it balances clarity with character. Made to order in custom sizes.

Moon Stool White
Named for its soft, rounded shape, the Moon Stool is made from a rare piece of Oak marked by Fistulina hepatica—a fungus that slowly transforms white oak into rich brown oak. This particular piece was caught mid-change, its streaks of warm brown threading through the pale grain.
Hardworking and adaptable, the stool sits comfortably at a dining table, desk, or the end of a bed—or simply off to the side, catching whatever the day leaves behind. This piece is one-of-a-kind; but the design can be made to order in Oak or a range of timbers.

Dimensions: 560mm wide x 300mm deep x 430mm height
Moon Stool Natural
English white oak, caught mid-transformation as it begins to turn into rare Brown Oak. A natural fungus, Fistulina hepatica, slowly seeps through the tree, staining the heartwood from pale gold to deep brown, while quietly breaking down its structure. Your own custom piece will have its own character and can be made of a range of timbers.
The butterfly joints lock the wild grain in place, celebrating the timber’s shifting, imperfect beauty. Hard-earned from difficult material, this piece is simple, sturdy, and rich with quiet drama—built to last, and to be looked at twice.
